Salute the Stars

The 14th Annual Salute the Stars awards luncheon will be held on Thursday, May 10th at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium. ESPN Monday Night Football analyst and former Super Bowl Head Coach, Jon Gruden, will join John and Linda Lynch in honoring student-athletes and providing scholarships.

The event, which is held on the field in front of an anticipated 1,000 guests, is designed to recognized young leaders from the Denver and greater Colorado areas. It is the Lynches intention to recognize what is 'right' with our youth today. The student-athletes who are honored, each excel in academics, athletics and community involvement.

There will be a silent auction held on the field at the luncheon and all guests will have an opportunity to pass, punt and kick on the field after the event. This year the Lynches will once again host a VIP Reception at their home the evening before the event on Wednesday, May 9th for high level sponsors which included entertainment by Phil Long and an exciting live auction.

Most importantly, those in attendance will be profoundly impacted by the many stories of leadership, dedication, and determination in these youngsters, including some with disabilities who face extreme challenges every day, inspired all.

To date the John Lynch Foundation has awarded $426,000 in scholarships to 88 student-athletes, including those with special needs. Last year's event was the most successful to date as it generated more than $275,00 which will go to fund and sustain the Foundation's youth programs in Denver.

VIP Kick Off Party will be held on Wednesday, May 9th for $2,500 Sponsors and higher.
