Once again the John Lynch Foundation has brought the joy of the Christmas season to deserving youth in the Denver area...
Once again the John Lynch Foundation has brought the joy of the Christmas season to deserving youth in the Denver area through the Lynch's Christmas Party with the Boys & Girls Clubs. The 11th Annual Lynch's Christmas Party was held at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts on Tuesday, December 18th.
35 children were invited to a Holiday party hosted by John and Linda Lynch and to attend a special performance of White Christmas. Old Chicago provided a delicious warm meal for the children, who ate while they visted Broncos mascot, Miles. While at the party, they were surprised by a visit from Santa who came bearing gifts for all the children, specifically chosen from their own individual wish lists. Through the help of Wal-Mart, each child recieved more than $100 in toys and gifts, a bike, Reebok apparel, and a gift card to the Sports Authority.

The 15th Annual
Salute the Stars awards luncheon will be held on Friday, May 10th at Sports
Authority Field at Mile High Stadium from 11:30 am - 1:15pm. General Tommy Franks (Ret.),
Former Commander-in-Chief, US Central Command, will be the Keynote Speaker.
Please join John and Linda Lynch in recognizing and rewarding many shining
examples of young leaders in our community.
The Salute the Stars
luncheon, which is held in front of 1,000 guests, is designed to honor
student-athletes, including some with special needs, from the Denver and
greater Colorado areas. It is the Lynch's intention to recognize what is
'right' with our youth today. The student-athletes who are honored excel
in academics, athletics and community involvement. Awards and scholarships will be presented at the event.
The event will
feature a VIP Kick Off Party on Thursday, May 9th held at the Lynch’s home for
high level sponsors, which includes cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, entertainment
and a live and silent auction. Guests who attend the luncheon on May 10th
will also have the opportunity to Punt, Pass and Kick on the field after the
event.
To date the
John Lynch Foundation has awarded $535,000 in scholarships to 103
student-athletes, including those with special needs. We count on support from
local corporate and individual sponsors to assist us in making this day special
for many deserving youth.
